A Study on Physical Constitutions of Candidate for a University in 1972

Abstract
Eight hundred six male and three hundred twenty nine female students who candidate for a Chonnam University, 1972 were subjected to the various test for the physical constitution comparing with other reports, and the following results were obtained.
1. Both sexes, body height was found to gradual improvement with annual transition in each age group, but it was less favorable than the Japanese mean values.
2. It was demonstrated that body weight was less favorable than the Japanese mean values In male students, but it was favorable students.
3. In both sexes, chest-girth was favorable than Japanese mean values in each age group.
4. It was demonstrated that sitting height was some what favorable, than Japanese mean values in male students but there was no much difference in female students.
5. It was found to be gradual improvement with annual transition in various of physical fitness.
